An Acrostic View...

An acrostic poem,

Corals are
One and only.
Releasing beauty,
All underwater.
Love them,

Rescue them.
Everyone do your part,
Everyone come on help
Fearsome fate will come, if selfish humans don't
SAVE THE REEFS!

Global Warming (cont.)

Also another thing caused by humans, global warming also has effect on coral reefs. We humans really should start paying attention to the nature surrounding us. If we continue our actions at this rate, the Earth will be SQUEEZED DRY LIKE A LEMON. Earth, or Mother Nature rather, has given so much to us. And do we give anything back? No, unless you count pollution, shortage of fossil fuels, and so many other bad stuff. It's sad to see our reefs disappearing. When corals die, their skeleton still remains, a "memento" of what we have done. Most corals die of pollution. But there are much more reasons for how they die. If you want to find out, visit this website. Doing our part, no matter however little it might be, will help. Every part counts, so they say.

Great Barrier Reef (cont.)

The Great Barrier Reef. One of the world's most stunning sights. Marine life there is colourful and flamboyant, and plentiful too. This makes the Great Barrier Reef one of the most popular tourist spot in the world. Sadly, they are slowly diminishing, from all the pollutants we dump into the sea. However, it is good that we are doing some action to protect the reef, like the actions the GBRMPA (remember them?)are doing to protect the Great Barrier Reef, the largest of all the coral reefs, and (probably) the most beautiful of them all. Some species of marine life in the pictures above.
